    It'll definitely be a few months, because I want to do it in a weekend. Also, can I use the stock torque converter from my truck and flexplate from the 6.0 to bolt it to this trans?

    Has anybody done this swap? My main concerns are the wiring harness, motor mounts, and compatability between the 6.0 and 700R4 (which i believe the truck to have). It will be with a complete 6.0 with 57k on the odo.

    I wish that I had that motor instead of the TBI.. Actually I wish the LS block in my closet had parts on it so I could swap it out.

    They've had the 4.3 in trucks from when it came out in the 80's to present, and yes its a pickup. In a nutshell it's running like ****. Rough idle, hard acceleration, will stall if started cold without staying on the throttle. After warming up to operating temp it does improve a little bit.

    This is for my 94, not my 96. I didn't think these things had CPS's either, but the codes I'm pulling are saying so. And no, I've taken the accessory bracket off and there's nothing behind, so it's not up front.

    Ok so right now my truck is throwing three codes: p0012, p0015, and either p0330 or p0033. I'm trying to track down the wiring to my crankshaft position sensor and cant for the life of me find it. Where the hell is this thing? I've been told its 7 o'clock of the harmonic balancer.. but all I see...

    annoying squeak

    ok, so a few weeks ago i carried a nice sized load in my pickup. jsyk, it was cases of gatorade stacked 2 rows high and no more room what so ever. shoulda seen the cali lean on that bish . anyways about a week ago my drivers side rear wheel started squeaking and it goes away at about 20-30 mph...

    tbi 4.3 si/so super 44

    does anybody have a sound clip of a tbi 4.3 with a singe si/so flowmaster super 44? my cat is about to go so while im at the shop i wanna go ahead and put in the flowmaster in place of the current glass pack. if it is without cats thats a plus.
