Curious to see if anyone has installed a Lokar/TCI/B&M type of automatic transmission floor shifter in their GMT400. Personally I love the look of a floor shifter over the column shifter and would enjoy seeing some examples from fellow members.

I saw somewhere a guy took a full length center console out of a newer truck and rigged a shifter up to it for a manual. Can't remember where i saw it tho

Not mine. Just a pic I saved because there's so much going on in this & so cleanly done.

I have one, took the console out, mounted a B+M mega truck shifter on the floor. I used a different cloth material instead of that stupid rubber boot. I used a custom top plate too since the PRND indicator works off the tranny and not the shifter. I can grab a pic later today if I remember.

Please do, that sounds like a great setup IMO

Definitely like it. Since I have the 60/40 seats I figure I might need a bit of a longer stick but definitely looks like I thought it would. 10 out of 10
