Howdy, I have a 1998 k1500, I want the put on some Bilstein 4600 shocks anyone use these before?

Probably about 90% of us. :lol:

They're pretty much the go-to quality shock for these trucks. I run them on both of my '97s.

I can't comment directly on that as my mechanic installed them for me. Two of the bolts on my Suburban were rusted solid so he had to cut them out and replace them, but other than that he didn't have any issues. Didn't cost me much in labor if I recall correctly.

I snapped my oem bolts (not rusty) on the rear top when I installed my new shocks. I recommend going to the Hardware store and getting some new ones. Bolts are cheap...snapping a bolt sucks.

What Grade would you suggest? I’d guess 8 because it’s under pressure.

If I got the 5100 shocks would it level it without wearing out the front end?
