They were, but that does look like a Z71 grill guard; I've never seen an aftermarket guard that had the divider bars for the headlights/turn-lamps and corner lenses.

I’ve never looked at one up close, but figured it was original since it had the brackets going into the bumper.

If it was closer, I’d have probably checked it out.
