What Wheels? 97 2500 454ci....

Hello Guys I'm new to this site and new to the truck game. Long story short.... I just bought a 97 2500 2wd 454ci truck. I bought the truck for 1700 dollars from a close friend. What wheels would be nice on my truck but yet very affordable? Besides wheels I'm looking forward to upgrading the cassette player to a aftermarket CD player and tinting the windows.

I don't have any wheel input, but I am jealous that you got that truck for $1700. Looks pretty clean.

Yes for its age it's really clean. However, upon buying the truck it needed a rear brake job and the window motor on the driver side was shot.

Search the internet for various wheel styles and pick the ones you like in the price range you can afford. Check craigslist. I got my 2001 wheels for like $200.

Good idea... But I still prefer to see pics of these style trucks on different wheels. Some wheels look good off a vehicle then when on a vehicle they don't look to eye appealing to me.

I painted my stock wheels black and put new center caps on. Makes a world of difference. 9x16" steel, stock type wheels are in the future...
