Sorry I know this is an awful question but I'm getting tires and rims for a really good price I'm just worried they won't fit.

They're 285/75r16 KO2's on American racing Baja wheels. 1998 k1500, no lift, 3.73 gears. I do mostly city driving. Any info will help. I currently have 265/75r16 on stock rims.

No idea about the American Racing wheels... I'm sure they come in several different offsets. But 285/75/R16s will fit fine with the factory wheels.

Not sure if they're 0 or 20 offset. If they're the 20 offset do you think it will rub?

I have no idea, sorry. I'm not even sure what the offset of the factory wheels is.

The offset on the stock Z71 Sawbladees is like 5.5 or something? So I'm pretty sure the Bajas will proably rub without a crank.
Now with 285/75r16 and a half ton there's no getting around cranking up an inch or two; I know I had to crank my 2500 when I put my BFGs on,

3.73s and 285s aren't a bad combo, I do mostly on road driving as well and didn't notice any loss in power (I do daily a 454 though) but my one gripe is my speedo is a little off,

Alright I don't mind cranking it up a little. How off is it? Does it show you're going slower or faster? The baja wheels I found out today are 16x8

i have 285s with a crank, 3in body lift, and ZERO offset rims, and i rub like a ******* on near-to full lock. just turning into a parking space will rub. i kept the stock mudflaps on, and trimmed everything else i could, and just let the tire rub on the flap. at least its rubber rubbing on hard plastic, rather than steel.
