Tow mirrors serve a purpose. But if you're not frequently towing a trailer, are they necessary? I don't think so, and I wouldn't want them because they are usually a downgrade as far as looks are concerned. Only some trucks can pull it off IMO. A lot of folks like how they look, and that's fine, just not my style.

Its time to get out the junkyard tools and go on the prowl for headliner parts for this old work truck. The plan is to go with the upgrade plastic parts so it will take a cloth headliner. That is first, followed by another seat etc. It all starts at the top of the cab and work my way to the floor.

I'll be making a junkyard run this weekend myself; what yards do you haunt?

I honestly don't know. I plan on checking them out one by one in my area til I find one with a bunch of OBS trucks. I am on the Triangle side of the state so I won't be in your way. I am open to suggestions and will be glad to keep an eye out for you if you are chasing something.

If you're close to an LKQ or Pull-A-Part I would definitely recommend those; go early and beat everyone else though, cause people just LOVE to tear **** apart to get to things that aren't worth the destruction. I'm not chasing anything in particular, just like to go and see what I can find.

Really and truly, no matter what boneyard you go to, there's always gonna be at least 3 to 4 GMT400s,

Sorry to bother everyone but does someone have a pic of a K2500 8 lugger with the flares off with stock height and stock tires? My flares are just about ready to come off of the double sided tape and wondered how it would look without them. I like how beefy it looks, I would really not like it to look like it was 2 years ago when it was a half-ton (maybe the stance of the 3/4 ton might change the look?), but I also don't want that salt crap getting inside them either. Thanks! :)

With the offset on these bullet hole rims the front tires stuck out a good inch or so past the fenders,

Ok thanks, looks good, I just have the factory GMT800 5 spoke sentinels on my truck now so there isn't much offset as I used to have (6.5" wide rim; 16's), had to get rid of my bullet holes. Your truck really pulls that off without the flares, and mine has just about the same height as yours. I think I will take mine off this weekend or something. Thanks! :D

Cool sunset tonight.
