As the title states, I'm looking for a complete factory intake assembly from a full size 96+ Vortec truck with the 4.3L V6. I have bits and pieces of mine but I can't find the rest of it. Checked the yards around me and no one has a full size GMT400 with the Vortec 4.3L sitting around.

If you happen to see one and have the time to pull all of it (I mean EVERYTHING, clamps, hardware to attach the box to the fender, resonator box with "Vortec" logo, etc.) I'd be happy to pay you for it. Should be a fairly simple pull, it only took me about 30 minutes with hand tools to remove mine when I installed my K&N.

Thanks guys!

I've got the complete assembly with mounting hardware and all. I can get a picture tomorrow.

And so... I'm a little closer but I still need some parts.

Looking for the mounting hardware to attach the TB hat to the TB, which is one stud and one tall wing nut. Part numbers 30 and 12 on this diagram.

Also looking for the bracket and hardware that attaches the box to the fender, part numbers 24, 25, and 26 on the diagram. One of each.

Next up, my airbox elbow that I received has a crease that I don't like, so I need the V6 specific elbow, part number 6 on the diagram. This is the only V6 specific piece left that I need.

Last but not least, my K47 airbox lid has a couple of small holes so I'm looking for a replacement lid. Part number 1 on the diagram. The K47 boxes are the same between V6 and V8 trucks, so it doesn't matter if this comes from a V6 or not. And it's the least necessary part for me.

EDIT -

OK so after doing a final inventory and tearing my K&N partially apart to find out exactly what I need, I've made some alterations to the list. I found out that the elbow I need is NOT actually V6 specific, it can be pulled from any 4.3, 5.0, or 5.7L Vortec GMT400. Also decided to buy what mounting hardware I can new, it's cheap enough anyway. At this point nothing I need is V6 specific. Here's a link to the parts diagram from earlier for reference.

https://www.wholesalegmpartsonline....odel=14486&modelYear=1997&ukey_category=19400

THE TWO PARTS I REALLY NEED:

1.)Airbox mounting bracket that goes between the bottom of the airbox and the top of the fender. ACDelco part number 15713032 (discontinued), part number 25 on the diagram. Can be pulled from any 4.3L, 5.0L, or 5.7L Vortec truck.

2.) Airbox to fender top fastener that holds the airbox to that bracket. ACDelco Part number 15713004 (discontinued) , part number 26 on the diagram. Can be pulled from any 4.3, 5.0 or 5.7L Vortec Truck.

In addition to these I'm looking for a lid for the filter box from a 4.3, 5.0 or 5.7L truck with the K47 RPO code, which is for the high capacity air cleaner system. It looks exactly like the air box lid in the parts diagram I linked earlier, that diagram is of a K47 system. An easy way to tell a K47 intake from the standard one is by the tube that goes from the filter box to the inlet hole in the fender, part number 29 on the diagram. On a K47 truck, it's pretty much a straight cylinder. On the standard system, it's got a big resonator box hanging off one side, like part number 30 in this diagram. (The diagram linked below is of a standard system, and also part of how I found out that I was mistaken about the elbow being V6 specific)

The K47 box lid isn't super necessary as I already have one. Mine has a couple of small holes in it though so if I could find a mint condition one that would be awesome. Everything else I've got covered. I'm just going to buy an elbow off eBay and order the rest of what I need (that I didn't list in this post) from GM Parts Direct.

What is different about the k47 box on the gasser motors. I know the diesels pretty well.

To be honest I'm really not sure, I've never seen a diesel one and I can't find any diagrams mentioning them. I'm assuming they're probably different as the 7.4L gasser K47 box looks way different from the 4.3/5.0/5.7L ones.

I’ll try to go to the yard today where I saw one a few days ago. Did you order the elbow off of eBay yet?
