Bedlining the inside of the new gate. Gonna try the rattle can duplicolor color match on the other side. I've done small parts and they matched great. Large panels will take some more time but I think I can get it right. If not its not a huge deal. I'm wrapping the outside anyways.

This is the stuff I'm using. I have it on the inside of my current tailgate and it's nice and grippy. It's just paint. It's not rubberized or a thick heavy bedliner material. It scratches like paint. Great stuff. Holds up very well. It takes a fair bit of abuse for a paint. Dries fast too.

Thats good stuff. I sprayed thr bed of my 91 stepy with that and it never scratched. Even with loading and unloadling a quad with no ramps or help. I use that on everything lol.

First coat of green on. Meh. Let's just say I'm happy I'm wrapping it. Rattle can generates a bit of spatter. Not impressed.

One more can of it. Seems like the heavier I lay it the better it turns out.

Alright so I did a test. I had an empty can with next to nothing left in it. I sprayed behind the tailgate handle really heavy. After seeing it dry, it was perfect. So I need two more cans and lay one heavy coat. I'm actually impressed with it. I'm still gonna wrap it since it was a gift from my parents. But if I can lay some good clear on top I'll be a happy man.

Well the paint and wrap is complete. Not at all the perfection I usually do. But I've never painted or wrapped anything. So this was a learning experience. It's not the worst but it's definitely not how I want it. Oh well. The rest of the truck is just as bad visually so I suppose this isn't horrible.

Also went to the junk yard today. Scored a loaded diesel bumper. Polished it up really nice. I'll get it installed this week I think. Tailgate will go on one of these nights after work.

I'm ready to do my ABS delete. Got a drum brake rear prop valve and a front brake line T fitting. Just need to get the stuff all on and bleed the system. Looking forward to having decent brakes for the first time in the 7 years I've had it.

Let me know how you like the abd delete and how it goes. You don't hear about 95+ trucks getting deleted nearly as much as pre 95
