Lifted my truck 3". Steering knuckle problem

hey guys so i lifted my truck 3" and put rancho shocks on the front and left the rear stock. I just got brand new moog ball joints ( all 4 ) and had them put on at the same time. My upper ball joint is really bent when i turn the wheel and so i think i need a aftermarket steering knuckle. Is there any way to fix this or is my only option aftermarket steering knuckles?

Check out the rough country upper A arm 2-3 lift. Or crank down the bars some.

How did you go about lifting the front? If you cranked the t bars that much, that's your problem

I got rancho shocks and indexed torsion keys and brand new moog ball joints. When i turn my wheel it bends the boot on the ball joint a lot and its going to wear them down

Like mentioned above, you don't want to go over 2" on just a crank. Aftermarket keys offer no gains over stock on these trucks.

EDIT - And even 2" is going to ride awful.

Im not as worried about the ride considering it isnt as bad as i thought it would be im worried about my brand new ball joints and how my stock steering knuckle bends them

like stated above, look into aftermarket upper A-arms.

Basically your ball joint id designed to work with the control arm and knuckle close to a 90% angle. When you just lift the truck you increase the angle beyond what it is designed to do. That is why proper lift kits designed to keep these angle within designed limits.

I don't know what you consider bad but I bought my truck with new shocks and aftermarket keys cranked all the way down and it rides like a dang log wagon. It's got a little bit of room off the droop stops but it's still absolutely aweful. Every decent sized bump in the road I hit I might as well not even have springs or shocks. I can't wait to get a real lift and ditch this terrible set up.

There are no aftermarket steering knuckles to correct this problem. Only aftermarket control arms. Your either gonna have to deal with eating up ball joints, buy a real lift, or crank it back down. The upper control arms fix the upper balljoint angle but the lower ball joints are at just as crappy of an angle.
