Rough Country 4"/6" kit install tips.

I know this is an old post, but has anyone tried using those sway bar end links? When I redid my front suspension, those things were a B!!!!!!TCH. I'd gladly replace them with the item he linked.

I just completely deleted my front sway. I was having nothing to do with it after I got the links disconnected!

Does anyone know why the 89501 crossmember brackets are required for 4 door Yukons & Tahoes? I have a '99 Suburban and even though it doesn't specifically state my model needs them I was just curious if it was something I'll need, or is there something about those particular models that make it necessary?

We used these on my sons truck. They were easy to install and worked great.

They have a different cross member than the other trucks due to the gas tank or something. I dont remember exactly what but it's specific to them only. You won't need them for a suburban

One question I wanna know, I have the 4" Rcx and was wondering if going to the 6" would require any additional pieces that doesn't come with the 6" kit. Brake line extensions,etc.

Besides the add-a-leaf, no. The kits are the same. The brake lines simply get relocated, by the way. They're not actually extended.

I know this is an old post, but I loved your green truck (read all 109 pages worth of the thread) and so I just had to ask. I drive an 89 k2500 4wd. It's currently at stock height right now and I am planning on lifting it this summer. Due to being a poor college kid, i'm probably going to be running 33's to save a little money, but I cant decide whether to go with the 4" lift or the 6" lift. Would it be worth it to spend a little more on 6" lift so in the future if I wanted I could throw bigger tires under the truck, or just get the 4" and then maybe add a leaf spring to get the extra 2" later on?

Here is 4" on 35s it's all up to you. I would imagine 6" on 33s will put a lot of strain on your control arms and tie rods.
