Ok, recently removed a lift off of my c2500 suburban with hydroboost brake system. only 150k miles. It was fine for a couple days but now the front brakes are dragging badly and they won't release. The pedal gets firmer and firmer as you drive and the truck gets warm. Ive ordered new calipers and front brake lines in case one seized or a line is collapsing, but both front brakes lock up equally as bad. The rear drums aren't dragging. But i don't know much about hydroboost, could it be the MC?

If your brake light switch got adjusted improperly or disturbed during this procedure, it could keep your brake pedal from fully returning and that could cause your problem. It is dragging, and then as everything heats up from the drag, it also expands and gets tighter.

I had a bad vacuum booster once that did this. I'd have to crack the bleeder loose to get the car to move.

Had a 3rd gen Camaro do this. Ended up being the metal collar on the rubber line had rusted between the collar and rubber line and you could pump the brakes up but they wouldn't release. I cut the collar off and the problem went away.
