So my dash was cracked when I got my tahoe and it's slowly been getting worse. My buddy totaled his sas 97 and his dash was in a lot better shape than mine. It took 4 hours but finally got it out but it was blue and I've always wanted a black interior so I'm painting all interior plastics black and getting black carpet and recovering the seats in black leather. Here's some pics of his truck with my tahoe.

Here's another picture of his truck. I've got all the dash pieces painted already. I'll try and put up some pictures of them tonight when I get home.

I haven't got to the doors yet but I've been researching some ways to go about doing it. I was kinda thinking about using vinyl paint. For the fabric inserts around the door handle I'm going to recover them with some other fabric. Maybe something with a design. And for the carpet on the bottom imma just recover it with black carpet.

RE supply sells 2k urathane in a can..i used it to put three coats on my painted dash to keep the paint in place...works great..a little shiny but you dont want the dash paint to flake off.

I used krylon satin black plastic paint and so far it dries pretty quick and sticks really good

A little update. I still haven't found any time to put the new dash in yet but changed some lights in the meantime. Still need a bundle of 3mm leds so I can change the color of my mirror switch and rear wiper switch.
