Yep I swapped my zr2 about 6 years ago. I love it more than any of my past or current trucks. Its just a stock vortec 350 with a nv3500 5 speed. I have a lt4 hot cam 383 with aluminum vortec style heads for it but Never got around to installing it. maybe one day. The vortec 350 has had a nasty knock and i was said when it blows up ill swap it, so far 50K miles on it and it still knocking away and I beat the CRAP out of that truck and my 1/4 ton truck does what a 1 ton should do.

Worked on one of the H2 wheels today and did some Satin powder coating. Worried about it with the chrome but we will see how long they hold up.

Well things changed a little. sold the whipple and bought a magnacharger. now if it just cleared the hood id be good. time for a Cowl hood? also pulled the headers back out and installed v band clamped and then got them ceramic coated. Im happy. one thing at a time cant wait to fire it up.
also changed my battery cables to the silverado ones and relocatedt he battery to the drivers side.

Thanks guys, still a lot of work to go to make the truck nice but its slowly getting there. Ive picked up a set of NBS front brakes and spindles. working on getting them powder coated and going to new energy suspension bushings, bilstein shocks, new moog ball joints.
