I barely have room for a finger.. so the other shaft should be around the same..

Quick question: I have a 92 K1500, which year model XJ Shaft 80-94 or 95-96 would work and more importantly fit better?.

I'm wanting to buy a new shaft rather than go to a junkyard. I just don't know which year shaft to go with. Can someone please help me before I make a mistake?

Hopefully someone can chim in and lmk if I'm correct, but looking at both model of shafts, the 95-96 XJ shaft has the lower clamp is directly in line with the u-joint, rather than off set. Is that correct?
