If it says 6600lbs thats the weight of the truck and any payload....guessing the truck its self is around 6000 lbs.

The truck and trailer and everything right? So in my case it would be 6600 but how much does the truck weight? Its a 4x4 ext cab 5.7l

My 94 exsb 4x4 5.7 crossed the scale at just under 5,500 if I remember right.

IV put 6 in mine but I had to cover them in oil and stuff them in and my frame was on the axle

Well my 1500 rides about like the 2500 burb because of the oversized leafs out back. Not sure, but they are at least a 2500 spring pack. So it will hold over 1k with out much sag.
