If you wanna play dukes of hazzard in a pickup truck get ya a 95 ranger with a 2.3. The motors are bulletproof and they dont have enough power to toast the trans or rear end. Plus twin I beam front. I had one and i jumped it, wheeled it, mudded it. Pretty much pretended it was a trophy truck. The only thing i ever did in 45,000 of the hardest miles the world has ever seen is front brake pads and one oil change lol. That skinny pedal was like an on off switch. Even sank it in a creek once. Pulled the plugs and changed the oil and it was good to go again.

I see my old one around every now and then. My old mushroom hunting spot was back a half mine lane in the middle of two fields. The lane had some pretty good dips in it from combines and tractors, so when it was muddy the only way i could make it back was to baja back there. Then on my way to school there was a set of train tracks that were about 5' taller than the road and 25ish degree slope on each side. Ive watch numerous semis get hung up on it and plowd by trains before they actually put up a no semi sign. Idk how many times i hit that but i jumped it enough to know that if i hit at about 35mph i wouldnt touch the tracks and it would be a smooth landing going down the other side.

That's why I like having one (or two) nice trucks, and also having one I can run into things on purpose for amusement :D
