Broken...

I went offroading to Holy Jim Trail in Trabuco Canyon the other week aaaand this happened...

Turned out i mobbed it 40mph over a dip and landed hard. Broke upper and lower ball joints, 4 bolts, snapped brake line, tie rod, upper control arm, and a chunk of my wallet.

I am young and dumb and this was the consequence lol. It only took 4 different towing companies to say no way to travel 6 miles into no service of dead woods. Finally the 5th towing company grabbed an F-550 wheel-lift tow truck to pull my ass out all the way to the entrance. All around cost about $1500 to fix. She is back up and I am definitely babying it now. I go so slow over dips and speedbumps now it physically hurts.

Off road is not hard on them to an extent good tires, 4low, and a little common sense can get me and my 97 extended cab to all of my hunting spots. I don't touch the gas except to clean the tires once in a while sometimes I use 4 hi depending on type of mud. but like 4low keeping the speed down. let it eat will get you places you wouldn't believe with the right tire

Definitely why I don't beat my 20 year old, 200,000 mile truck. If something broke like that on me, it would not be worth it to fix. Part out!

Truth has been spoken. Yeah i know i was an idiot, i could confidently say i am babying my truck now, and when i go back to holy jim i will defeat the trail, not the other way around haha.

I've destroyed 3 motors 4 axles 2 transfer cases 1 transmission and countless u joints suspension parts etc in the mud. wanna know how to brake it I can tell you. you gotta pay to play

Now if you really wanna know how to break stuff just add more power. It just makes it easier and easier. Ask me how I know, couple transmissions, t cases, and lots and lots of driveshafts

I haven't got to add substantial power yet will soon hopefully.
