just acquired a 96 suburban k1500.. was looking into a 3" torsion key lift with add a leaf rear, and a 3" body lift for look and tire clearance.... my question is, does the body lifts come with a radiator drop kit?
has anyone had issues with the radiator drops? and still stay functional. all the rest is extensions for lines, steering etc. doing the gmt800 master cylinder upgrade next weekend. I want to run a 33-35" tire and look good, and still have a decent ride. not an off road rig, mainly hwy driver to and from work for now. nut will pull the drag car to and from shows and the track. this thing runs freaking AWSOME!! and 17 mpg too... Will be getting man paint job soon, thinking desert tan/black, or desert camo, or brown, etc.. needs rednecked

3" torsion key lift

Not going to happen. The most lift you can get out of keys on these trucks is about 2", and that's going to absolutely kill your ride quality.

Also don't waste your money on any kind of aftermarket keys, they're not going to gain you anything over the stock ones.

I use a 2" rear block and a 1" crank on the front to use 33", also need some bolts of a z71 to make the correct alignment in front, mine is a pick up so don't know if that changes, also you need to trim a little the bumper to make room for the tires

Here is a pic of my 98 Yukon. I have about 1.5" of crank and a 2" block in the rear. It drives really good except for it needs new shocks soon and also I would like to get the Rough Country upper control arms so I can get the caster for the alignment back where it needs to be. I am running 285/75R16 General AT2's on 16x8 wheels.

I have 3" of crank on my 96 with an add a leaf, it's possible but it rides like hell and when I turn it jumps a bit
