All I'm saying is that it hits the inner fender well. Should have worded it different. Although I'm sure it might get hot. I yanked the 6.5 before I ever ran it with the bl.

Oh alright. Well this creates a bit of a problem.. I Guess 33" (285/75) won't fit in front without lifting it a couple inches..

Nice reading, although it's a shame the pictures is all gone, i would love seeing the pictures! any easy fix on that?
I Have a question, i was looking at a performance accessories 3inch body lift kit but the appearently it says "does not fit on diesels", actually it says so on most of BL's... how come? I want to raise mine 3" and get some 33's on!
Buy a suspension lift? They cost right around 1k even less than that sometimes

Probably a stupid question but without the pics I'm kind of lost.

I simply want to lift my truck 2-3" inches what exactly do I need to buy?

It's a 1997 Z71 Ext Cab..

Sorry guys, Pics are years old. I had a request to re-new the pictures, but I no longer have the pics. Let alone the truck, all I have left of that red truck is a cab with no hood, doors, and seats out in my back yard lol.

if you want 2-3" buy a 3" rear lift blocks, they go in between leaf spring packs and rear axle. The kit should come with blocks, U bolts and shocks. Zone Offroad has them, summit racing, performance accessories.

Crank the torsion bars on your truck up and get a front wheel alignment.

Or buy a 3" body lift..

Oh yeah. Sorry, forgot to add that 95 k1500 auto tranny. Thanks. I'll be lifting mine this weekend, trying to get everything straight ahead of time rather than just diving in.
