which 1500 series trucks got LT tires??

Since when did the 1500 series trucks get the LT265 tires from the factory? I assumed the 2500 and 3500 series got them and the 1500 series got the P rated tires..

I believe those were standard equipment on z71's

Are you pretty sure of this? I didnt know the 1500 series got the LT tires. Im trying to sell a set of stock wheels with P series tires on them and some guy was arguing with me that his 94 1500 calls for LT tires and I didnt believe him until he sent me the pic of the sticker on his drivers door. He says only the 2wd trucks for the P series tires. I have emailed back yet correcting him on that but Im just curious now on the LT tires.

Nope they were an option on all 1500s standard on none

the picture he sent says LT265/75/16C

I would have assumed it would be the LT245 tires.

I know when my brother bought a new 1993 K1500 ecsb z71 with a diesel, he got 265/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler TD tires on the aluminum wheels, however I don't recall if they were LT or P-metric. I have seen quite a few Firestone Steeltex LT245/75/16 LR C installed as OE equipped on 1500's.
