96 Centurion RcLb K2500,6.5 Turbo Diesel. Now Lifted on 37s!Centurion Info needed!

hey, new to the sight today. i just picked up a 96 chevy 2500 8 lug, std cab 8'bed, centurion conversion, 6.5 turbo diesel, push button 4x4 truck last weekend! just took jumper wire out from pmd and fired right up. runs great, everything works. think i got a deal, paid $2250. if you saw the crappy trucks i was looking at, its a great deal. how rare is this truck? because i can not find anything at all online about a centurion truck with std cab and long bed.ill try to figure out how to post pics.

How do you know its a centurion? Most of those are some type oddest conversion, a rclb diesel sounds pretty normal to me. To post pics you can host them on a site like photobucket and then Copland paste the image code into your post here. Oh an :welcome:

I'm not positive, but I think the centurion trucks were converted 1/2 tons. With 8 lug axles, that's a for real 2500.

time for a google....:)

Oh see what your saying now.. Most centurions I have seen are either a crew cab with an extended cab added to it, or half ton crew cabs. Are you sure it's not like a cowboy conversion or something of that sort, I've seen alot of suburbans that were cowboy conversions (according to the badge on them) that had graphics and interior upgrades.

Guys it could be a conversion meaning they gave it a paint job, different seats an wood trim like they used to do burbs an vans. Centurion did more than just the 1/2 ton crews... :deal:

Yeah that's pretty much what I said but I thought those were called cowboy conversions. Didn't know centurion was the one who did them though. But now I know thanks Paul! :handshake:
