I have been tossing around the idea of putting fuel injection on the 95. I'm looking at 2 different setups, the Powerjection III, and the F.A.S.T. EZ-EFI. I like the fact that both are "self learning", the Powerjection III is programable via laptop and capable of handling up 25 pounds of boost. My goal is to one day, supercharge it. At first i was going to use a Weiand 144with a carb, but think i would be much happier with a Vortec S/C setup. The fuel injection would be so much nicer on cold start ups, and i think i would have better driveablity with a fuel injection system.

Anyone running either one of these systems?

That Powerjection 3 setup is awesome! I think you might have got me in trouble with the wife. I might be upgrading! The only question is the distributor. Does it have a coil wire coming off of the carb?

LS Swap all day. You'll spend 1500 to 2 grand on one of those injection systems and still not hit close to the power you're looking for.

You show me where i can get a COMPLEAT LS1, with a harness, PCM, fuel pump, regulator, and everything needed to make it drivable for under $2500 shipped to my front door and Hell yeah, i'll seriously consider it.

Not going to happen, just like FSC everyone is all about the LS engines, and thinks that you can pick one up from E-bay and its just a "Drop in and drive off swap". Its not going to happen, and why would i go backwards in HP just to say i have a LS under the hood? Even in your link it was over $2500!

I love the LS motors, but they just don't do it for me when it comes to torque under 3500rpms. Do what makes you happy, both of them have their pros and cons. Obviously the Gen I & II small blocks have a huge following for a reason, and there's also obviously a reason all new chevy v8s and most popular swaps belong to the Gen III family.

Let's get some more opinions pertaining to these aftermarket systems before this becomes a Gen I vs Gen III war.

I think it is cool just because of the simplicity and how it looks just like a carb. I wouldn't replace even the stock Vortec system with it, but I would not hesitate to put it on a carb. vehicle.

I like both, gen 1 and gen 3, never cared much for gen 2's though, and if you like it, and it runs good, then do what you like. I like the injection unit that is used on the ramjet 350, I know it's available separately too.
