All you would do then is bolt the risers to the seat itself, bolt the outside riser to the floor with the pre existing holes, Then you know exactly where the inside holes would be located.

I didnt have to deal with risers and all that, I bought seats that came with risers. And it sounds easy and all, but using bucket seats from an ext cab, on the passenger side one hole at most lines up, causing you to have to drill three holes for one seat. It's a b*tch trying to get it straight while still ensuring that it is far enough back from the dash. The tranny hump gets in the way as well, you have to fight it.

That explains it then. the orignal post in this thread deals with reg cab risers, and a specific set of seats.

Ahh, i thought you were implying all seats from the generation would fit. That's my bad. However, to help everyone out, i suggest you all pay attention to the type of OEM buckets you buy. Made it hard work for me, considering I know basically nothing at the moment, but it is well worth the effort. and hey, if i can do it, then so can you!

I just wanted to throw my two cents in. I have found that almost all bucket seats (save beretta and not sure earlier say 70s and early 80s ) made by GM have the same bolt pattern (on the seat not the risers) and can be bolted to almost any GM riser of course that are made for buckets. That includes cars and trucks. I put a set of Cavalier bucket seats in an S10 which has the same bolt pattern as my yukon. We also bolted a power 60/40 seat (driver's side from an 88 Lasaber) in place of a 79 Blazer bucket.
