$200 budget power mods ?

So I have dumped a lot of money into my truck to get it on the road, and now since its on the road I would like to see what my options are. Currently I have $200 saved up which I can put towards mods, and I have been reading but not really sure what to go with. Looking for a little more power, I tow on the occasion and would like to have that little extra power.

Right now the only mods I have are Flowtech Headers, 2.5" true dual exhaust, high flow cats, x-pipe, flowmaster 40series mufflers. There is also a throttle body spacer installed on the truck right now, doubt it does much. The transmission I have a vette servo to go in, with a .500 boost valve, and a new deep pan.

Any suggestions on mods for better performance, around the $200 neighborhood?

Truck is in my sig - 94 chevy k1500 5.7, 4l60E, 14bolt SF rear end.

EDIT - I have contaced tbichips.com about a chip, but I do not think my truck would benefit from a chip right now. Next spring I am going to swap heads, cams, and intake - then get a custom tune.

Maybe switch your fluids to synthetics, 200 bucks should cover most of that if you haven't done so already. Not so much in the "power" department, but not much to be had there for 200 bucks that isn't alreadt listed.

I mean you could buy a new CAM for $200 but could you pull the motor and put it in yourself? Really kind of limited on what to suggest. What gears do you have in the truck? If your truck is slightly under geared at all your motor could have 500 horse power and it wouldn't matter because it would be bogged down...I think you should save a little more and put some gears in that thing that will really allow it haul ace...4.10's are great if you have stock or 33" tires...These TBI motors are just a terrible platform to make power from b/c the fuel delivery system is so poor in the first place. I mean you gotta look at the basic principles before you get into cam, heads, intake type of mods but honestly gears would make a huge difference, I know they did on my TBI 350 on 37's...

Also I did a TB spacer, power charger ($40) and injector spacer ($15) from Summit and noticed a nice little addage of Pep from 40mph + accelerations but that's what you have to expect with fuel/air delivery mods. Don't go expecting 20 hp gains, but those did make a big difference.

Do you already have a tranny cooler? If not, add one if you do towing.

With your exhaust a tune would help. Especially if you do the "Ultimate TBI" mods and bump the fuel pressure a little. You can also play with the 4L60E shift points in the tune for better acceleration. I was going to burn a separate chip as a "tow/haul" mode too, but ended up going 5spd.

Yes - the tranny does have an external transmission cooler. It looks like the previous owner had installed it, along with a temp gauge which is in the pan.

As for the gearing - I am not 100% sure, how do I find that out? I have always worked on imports, specifically VWs, Subaru, and Mitsubishi's (pretty much the vehicles I have owned). I am able to do the cams, and heads. I am just wanting to run the truck for winter, then plan on building the engine for a little more power. Right now I am just looking for basic bolt-on, and stuff that's easy enough to do in the colder weather.

I was just browsing Moates.net and which program/part do I need for tuning? Also any good websites to learn how to tune my truck? I have tuned obd2 vehicles before, first time for messing with obd1.

I was looking at the ultimate TBI mods- so I am juggling between a chip and finishing the TBI mods.
