96 tahoe dome lights not working

Since I bought my tahoe the dome lights have not and I can't take it anymore. All the lights work with the headlight switch, but don't come on with the doors.I've replaced The headlight switch , the fuses( they looked fine but I replaced them anyway) and all the bulbs .any ideas? I'm so sick of them jot working

I don't know if you have replaced them or not, but usually when I have had the interior light's not work it's the door pin switch or switch's that are bad, I would suggest that you check them out.

Im dragging up an old thread but I still havent got the lights working . Ive replaced the pin switchs in the side of the dash and its still not working. Anyone had this problem and what was there next step short of chasing all the wires to look for any breaks ?

Pop the dome light pod out & check to see if the connections are good.

I know this is going to sound like a stupid question but you did check the dome override button right? Its not depressed?

Was thinking the same. If it's pushed in it will override the dome light when the doors open and pushed out they will come on.

Haha yes I checked the dome override , it wierd the dome light won't come on with the door but will come on when the roller switch is turned all the way up .

Dude that's weird that makes it seem like it is a problem with the door pin but you said you've already replaced this right?

Yes Ive replaced both of the pin switchs and the headlight switch ,
