I haven't done this, but you can see the mounts from the wheel well, just go check.

Frames are totally different. Im pretty sure that there was never a factory overload spring on a 1500 truck. So the holes shouldn't be any holes and from what I remember there are none on mine. Drill them and the brackets probably wont fit the same. Might be able to get it to work though.

I was going to offer to send you pictures of mine. But it appears you already have them.

I can’t imagine it would be to hard to retrofit. Mount the springs. And place pad directly above the end. About 1.5 inches from the end of the spring. And drill the holes.

One thing I will tell you. If you ride empty most of the time. You will get overload spring slap. Where the springs will compress just a few inches before that overload stops all compression. Not to bad on the highway. But most of my driving was pothole filled gravel roads or off road.

I'll +1 this. The upper engages before the lower. It's pretty hard when it hits. Why are you wanting this mod anyway? Why not just get airbags or slap on a heavy half leaf pack?

The reason I don't want air bags is that it's a older 1500 I don't need the capacity of the air bags An when I flex I don't want to rip a bag
