Hey everyone ! I've already made some other posts because I needed answers before I went to the junkyard today, but glad to be here ! I'm a soon to be high school graduate from Grove City, Ohio just outside of Columbus. I just bought my friend's dad's old k1500, but already own a 2003 GMC Envoy ( hate it ) The truck is built. 14 bolt rear end 6lug with a dana 44 ( I think ) SAS with an unhooked E-locker and the g80 in the rear. Has a full k2500 suspension ( that's what he has told me, I'm assuming it's a light duty k2500 ). They were going to junk it so the thing is a mess right now, no motor, cut wire harnesses everywhere, interior scrapped, 700r4 wont shift into 3-4th, gas tank disconnected and missing just about everything possible under the hood, but I bought it for 250$ so can't complain a ton. Hope to learn a lot during my rebuild here !

Welcome and it looks like you have a job ahead of you . I think that junkyard is going to become a friend. Good luck. It will be a nice truck to graduate with . Don't let anyone tell you it can't be done.
