Default my 1998 silverado SAS Build and Question Thread.

Well i figured id post my truck up and my plans.

Dana 60 kingpin front, open, 4.88's
    14SF rear, Detroit trutrac, 4.88's
ORD SAS kit, which is sitting in my room right now

Just ordered some 16x10 micky thompson wheels
ordered a differntial rebuild kit for my d60 because it's missing a retinaing pin and the pinion ate the center pin

I already have 3157516 Toyo open country mud terrains

I picked up a rear disc conversion kit for like 100 bucks shipped to me. it's a tsmmfg kit which i got a good deal on.

I'm trying to sell the half ton axles i got that are built like my front axles but needs wheel bearings.. if anyone is interested im trying to get 500

    Now on to some pictures.
Before 6" pro comp nothing too big

then went to ocala national forest with a tacoma group

    then buired myself haha

now for the rear axle installation, i did all of this at work with help from co workers, good thing working for ford haha

    working space lol

    new ebarings and seals

    then gear mark up

I'll have more as a go

    Ordered:
    wheels
    brake lines front and rear
steering, should be here tomorrow, went with crossover ORD

    Need:
    lock in hubs
    wheel bearings
    spindle bearings
    seals kingpin rebuilds

Thats all i think i need, just gonna have about 600 bucks when i start putting it all together.

I also have that same tire pressure gauge, except with the metal end with the dual thingy at the end. Got it from Cornwell, I had a digital cornwell one, but returned it for that one, it was $50.00 cheaper.
