    GLWS!!!

On another note, I know the K axle is a bit longer than the C axle, but does anyone know if the leaf spring perches are the same distance apart?

i'm pretty sure its the other way around, just like solid axle trucks , the 2wd is wider as 4wd rear axle was put inboard more so the rear wheels don't lose traction from debris from the front tires off road or in snow.

For the first time, I believe you are wrong. Everything I've seen the 2wd 14bsf is 65" WMS to WMS, where the 4wd is 68/69" (depending who is measuring). If I recall the vans have narrower perches and are the same length as one or the other, but I forget which. I want to say the 4wd.

totally possible as i sold all my 9.5 so i dont have any left to measure for sure, but i could have sworn the ifs 4x4 still followed the same principals as the solid axle 4wd of having the front wider than the rear.

van axles always seemed to be the widest, thats why dodge guys are always looking for the 10.5 from chevy vans to fit in their wider trucks, the pickup ones are too narrow.
