Ive got a transfer case from a 2004 chevy 2500 that had the 4l80e. I believe its a np263 or something like that. its made out of a magnesium alloy. Just curious... what do these things go for used?

A few of my trucks have had leaking transfer cases and its a pain to find good salvage units. any one got any suggestions other than salvage yards?

What state do you live in? Where is the leak coming from? Ive had to replace the rear seal on the case a few times.

More than likely a pin hole from pump rub.

Dealership has rear case halves, IIRC they're about $500.

Alot of guys do fill them succesfully with JB weld and install a case saver to fix the pump rub at the same time.
