Selling my old 241c floor shift transfer case. A guy just called me saying his dad's truck needs a t case and the one he has in there is a 241c floor shift as well. Any one know if they'll swap?

What year is yours and what year is his. I had a 92 pickup and bought a 241c from a 94 suburban and it had a different output shafts and plug. Had to to change internals for it to work.

Can't believe I left that part out, that was dumb. Mines a 1995 k1500 and his dad's is a 2005. But he said floor shift. I didn't think they still made floor shifts t cases anymore at that point.

Not interchangeable. An 05HD likely has either the NVG-261HD or NVG-261XHD, first is behind 4L80-Es, second is behind ZF-6/Allison. I bet I know why he needs a tcase, grenaded from lack of oil due to pump rub... I'd either rebuild it or buy a rebuilt one from HERE Problem was fixed with GMT-900, but I'm not sure if a GMT-900 tcase will swap into a GMT-800.

No he said the tag on the back of the case says 241c...is it possible that a previous owner swapped a newer one out for a 241c?
