I just picked up a 99 K2500 Suburban with the auto 4wd. The service 4x4 light is on and the dash lights don't come on. I know it's probably the actuator, the switch or the encoder motor. I have another switch and encoder motor but I don't have a spare actuator. I was thinking of just buying a posi-lok because 2-lo would be nice but all the listings say 88-98. Can it be made to work in a 99? If not I might have to swap out the NP241 and shafts that I pulled from a 94 suburban.

It's the "88-98 body style" so how could it possibly fit a 99???....... that's the aftermarket performance market for you. Same thing with my Prothane body mounts.

Not everything is the same throughout the entire run, as we all know, but GM didn't make major changes from 98 to 99/2000. It should fit fine.
