We put the 6 degree shim in and stacked 6 washers under the transmission mount. It really needs about 4 more but I didn't have a long enough bolt. I need to see if someone makes a taller mount, that would be less redneck.

I would say it's about 90% better. There's still a slight vibration but it's less strong and doesn't happen until 55 mph. I took it up to 80 and it didn't get worse.

Speaking of mph, the speedo is way off. 55 used to be really about 50 but now it's about 40 via GPS phone app. Which doesn't seem right going from 3.42 to 3.70. It would be correct if it was a 4.10. Not what I ordered, but I'm ok with it.

Man, I drove it in the rain this morning and it's a hoot. No traction whatsoever, fishtails all over the place. It's very controllable though, might lead to overconfidence.

It never had good traction in the rain before, but the open diff didn't throw the back end around.

That sounds like a blast to putt around in then. Video coming soon?

Couple little things left and then I think it's ready for a test and tune at the nearest strip, which seems like a good place to get some video.

My internal accelerometer says low 14s maybe high 13s. So, it will probably run 15s. LOL.
