Problem solved. Fired the parts cannon for an ignition control module after doing some more research. Swapped it this morning. Was dreading it since I heard I had to pull the distributor. Took the cap off and it was on top so it was an easy swap. Took the truck out for a long drive and on the freeway to put some load on the engine to maintain freeway speeds and it did great. No more sputtering or bogging.
