But now I have a ground wire question heh… There is this ground up here on top, and I have just been putting it...

Ohh this is awesome, but 1 full additional turn after 0 lash? Dang, that’s a big difference to all the 1/2 and 3/4 turn info I have seen online I wonder what happened there… I did the 3/4 turn when I first adjusted the valves… So TDC Compression if I understand from the Screenshot there.. Is...

#1 cylinder damage from exhaust valve question

No, but I think he pulled the valve covers and could have messed with the valves/rockers? I never got clarification on how far he broke it down. But atm I am adjusting the valves (I cleaned everything, checked and triple checked everything, got 2 other people to verify everything looked good)...

#1 cylinder damage from exhaust valve question

Ok so it’s been a bit. Been busy as can be at my full time. But I did the test, no alcohol seeped and flowed past the valve. It just pooled. So valve was completely seated and sealed.

#1 cylinder damage from exhaust valve question

I’ll replace that valve then, and it’s the terminal that was bent on the spark plug. Actually some additional information. I put new heads on, did my valve adjustment, it was running decently, timing was good, and no misfires. Well it still had the fuel issue that it’s been having before the...

    98 c1500 5.7l Vortec - No spark issue

So I have had issues with my crankshaft position sensor before, so I replaced it - And then about 6 months later I had to replace it again, because the wiring got destroyed (due to where I drive my truck to get to work, lots of mud buildup and stuff) - so I redid the plug and wires completely...

    98 c1500 5.7l Vortec - No spark issue

So some history - The old heads cracked. Got new heads. Started up, was rough because I didn’t adjust valves. Took it to a closer place to where I live - Did a final valve adjustment - Sounded great, was running good, just needed to adjust fuel/air mix. I turned truck off, let it set, started...
