    Rocker caps

I was curious how tight those set screws needed to be so I shot an e-mail to Summit's tech line and asked them.In a couple of days I had a response:15-20 ft. lbs, cool,I can do that.

    1997 Suburban dual AC question

I use a white orifice tube, others use different colors for their reasons. That brass part is an expansion valve and is used for the rear a/c and is behind the panel on the right rear of your burb.

Faster to use polys,I got tired of ratcheting the regular nuts. When I replace the valve springs it will be faster & easier, that's the theory anyway :)

Collapsed Lifters 95 GenV Big Block

There was about 3/8'' stud showing so I thought that would be enough. After I drive the Burb about 100 miles I'll do the new valve springs & polylocks at the same time.

Did the new lifter break in today, ran the engine @2,000 rpm(+or-300-400) for twenty minutes, then let it settle down to a nice idle.Seems to run nice & smooth with no lifter noise. So tomorrow I'll change the oil again to my regular 10W-30 Castrol Conventional.GOT MY BURB BACK!!!
