    What ratio is currently in your truck? If it's a 3.08 or 2.73 you will feel like you've gained 100 more hp after swapping to a 4.10. Fuel mpg will go down some but you'll LIKE it. ;)

    With the width of tires you are suggesting, you may well need flares to cover them. Although some fellas used the factory 4wd flares. I think I have a pic or two saved with those on a 2wd truck. And I have seen vette wheels on lowered trucks that look pretty good like this one.

    I haven't read this whole thread but I think a partially plugged radiator and or faulty thermostat, fan clutch might be the culprit to the higher temps. Would pulling timing out of it at WOT likely cause it to go rich rather than lean?

    Try this little test. While driving when it does this lift up slightly on the shift lever. Not enough to change gears but just a little bit toward neutral.
