Vibration at 80

So I bough my 98 k1500, and on the drive home it had a slight vibration from 60-70 mph but would smooth out, a lot happened at once. I changed the rear end (original 10 bolt popped) tires( from33’s to 35’s bc the 33s were shot) and transmission. I got to drive it for the first time in months...

Down firing ported sub box?

Anyone know of any companies making a down firing ported sub box for our extended cab trucks? Looking for either dual 10s or dual12s, I’ve seen a couple forward firing boxes that are ported, but the only downfiring ones I’ve seen are sealed. Also does anyone have a preference or know what sounds...

Cylinder 1 and 5 misfire

I have a 98 k1500 it used to throw a random misfire code, so I did a compression test and all the cylinders were good, I started pulling plug wires and when I pull 1 and 5 it doesn’t make it run and worse so I changed my cap, rotor, plug wires, coil and the control module on the coil, the fuel...

4l60e swap

I have a 98 k1500, I pulled a trans out of a 94 1500 z71. So far everything is going smoothly, but I’m using the neutral safety switch from the 98 trans, and it doesn’t go on all the way on becausue the “gear selector thing” ( I don’t know what it’s called but the part that the linkage hooks to...

Transmission swap

I have a 98 k1500, and the transmission just started slipping and not wanting to shift in its own so I pulled a transmission and transfer case from my uncles truck he is parting out. That truck is a 1994 k1500 z71, here is my delema, my 4l60e is the later model with the removable bell housing...

Front dif?

I’m pretty sure this is in the wrong place, hopefully someone can fix it. I have a 98 k1500 Silverado. I grenaded the rear 10 bolt differential. My uncle has a 94 z71 that he is parting out so I took his rear differential. It is a 14 bolt, it bolted right in I just had to have a u joint sized...
