The cable end where it connects to the throttle body has broken. The cables are NLA. Anyone have an alternative or fix for the cruise control cables?

They were available a few years ago... I need one for my swap too, hopefully they are still made by someone.

I was able to fix my cable “fastener” with a modified circlip. I filed off the center keeper so it would clear the plastic shroud around the pivot and snapped it in place. Another thing I tried was a wire transmission cooler line keeper. See attached pictures. Hope this helps you. Both methods worked. I’ll see how long it lasts.

GM used those cruise control actuators on all kinds of things. Trucks, Vans, S10s, and even front wheel drive cars. Measure your cable length, find one that is long enough in the wrecking yard and swap it out. They are so common, I have swapped those cruise control units into older vehicles, a couple that were not even GMs.
