Also happened to be new mevotech TTX upper ball joint day.

Not to much hassle, the captured studs are either way to precise or not precise enough. They needed some hammering in. They fit they’re own ball joint fine of course but were just ever so slightly off in the control arm.

I ended up getting them started in the arm, then holding the ball joint with one hand and smacking the plate with a hammer. Only other small issue was, one of the joints had a tiny burr on the thread causing the nut grab and spin the joint. Luckily Mevotech put a slot in the end that a screw driver or pry bar fits into.

Queso, I didn’t get any pictures because of reasons, but, I did get the RR wheel cylinder swapped, both front brake lines swapped and an initial fluid bleed. Tomorrow I’ll run the automated bleed with the scan tool and bleed the system again. Maybe twice. Still a bunch of air coming out of the rear

Wait…which scan tool? Not the Autel right?

Looking good!!! Scan tool?!? Hell that dirt road to the right of your truck(last photo) looks mighty fine for a ABS brake bleed procedure :p! Just kidding, tires at any price are still expensive!!

Interior is looking great as is the cup holder, per D fancee!!!

Solus Pro FTW. I’m still eyeballing that Tech 1 listing on eBay. I don’t need it though. Would be cool to have.

@95OBSMan thank you! The cup holder is cool but lgbillet just released one made by slosh tubs that I think is probably better.

@fancyTBI im excited to use it. Hopeing I can have decent brakes for once. I’ll probably breakdown and just buy a tech2 clone, use the red brick for the older stuff and the Autel for the newer stuff. Can’t have too many tools right?
