    The EVAP sensor is held in with a barbed o-ring just like the MAP sensor on a 350, it's good to go. 2500/3500 trucks didn't use that sensor so your truck won't have the wiring for it. That's a 1 size fits all sending unit.

    Is the sending unit crusty? If not, there's zero reason to change it. You'll want a stock AC Delco pump, a 340 is insane overkill for a stock motor. Even a 255 is, but the bigger concern with the 255 is there are knockoffs everywhere. Stock is more than enough, you'll want a pump for a 96-97 350...

    I added a 2nd upper overload to my stock dually pack. I also think fondly of a GMT800 pack that came that way factory. Of course they do, probably do OK on a half ton. But I doubt the shocks do as well as a Bilstein.
