LC9 swap from donor truck - do it?

The money spent deleting the AFM DOD junk cam and lifters would be better spent finding a 6.0…

Sway bar link angle and popping noises..etc

Hopefully you dont have an accident and hit someone else while you are trying to sort it out. The truth is I bet if a really good shop inspected your truck then they wouldn’t be able to legally let you drive it away without the advised repairs being completed.

LC9 swap from donor truck - do it?

    I’ve never heard of a 2011 GM truck with a 5.7???

TBI350 to L31 swap. I'm told close to impossible.

Easy swap take all the wiring from the engine to the dash!

Does the 5.7 tbi need back pressure to run correctly?

All that matters functionally is that you have the pre cat 02 sensor and any muffler shop can add that for you no issue there. The post cat 02s can be deleted as you aren’t running cats and you won’t have any issues with how it runs but it could set off a check engine light. Not a big deal just...

Many shops offer a free inspection, you’ve been fighting with the diagnosis for too long by the sounds of it.

    Extra Lift After Shackle Flip?

I know it’s an old thread but how does it look with the blocks in the rear?

    Sourcing 2wd rear lift blocks

I would simply wait for the gentleman on here who’s got the parts you need if you want 4” vs 3”. How much are you raising the front and do you want it raked out or level? The rear is normally 1.5-2” higher than the front. I wouldn’t mess with the spring pack, just buy the blocks you need. You...

I can help you a bit with the measurements. If the blocks hole on the bottom and protruding round nib on top are 1/2” and the width is 2.5” then you know 100% they will fit. I’m measuring 88-99 leaf’s to get these measurements.

There is a big difference between rigging a suspended load and safety chains I wouldn’t sweat twisting them personally but each to thier own.

    LS turbo performance

Old video but here’s my neighbors car, it was raining that day and he drove it 40 minutes to the dyno! I can’t wait to see it with the new engine and other mods!

    Sourcing 2wd rear lift blocks

No but I swapped 99-06 leaf springs into an OBS so I can’t see why the blocks wouldn’t fit. The main thing is ensuring the pin on the bottom of the block fits into the hole in the diff when you tighten the u bolts. Also be sure the pin on the bottom of the leaf spring fits secure into the top of...
