    Could have air, very good chance run to low on fluid and damaged pump, that could be why it only makes pressure in higher RPM, I would test further confirm.

    11/32 = .3438 A 1/12 inch difference, either your splitting hairs or I'd ask the head / valve supplier.

    Uh, shouldn't you measure the rotors at what appears the thinnest area. Then deduct for turning, if that result is less than minimum, your done, order new rotors.

    Post the exact vin , then we can use the service manual to breakdown the vin. Using the manual the definition is more complete. Not 83-84, but exactly what it is.

    Press fit what? Used a tube type nut and threaded fitting with "O" ring for most AC lines.

    Somebody's worked or done something , the factory would not have left lines hanging with no support clamp. Those fittings have print on them , that might identify what they are.
