Thanks y'all, I'll check em and let you know. Is the dash a single bonding point or multiple ones. I only have the phone to look at the manual. I'll get on that later. New with pump. Looked inside when I was changing it out and noticed nothing odd. Was acting whacky will sitting still as well. I hate electrical gremlins.- 62barsoom

OK, I put in a carquest pump as I was stranded. It works, the truck runs, I'm happy. I guess nobody has any idea of why the gauge jumps when I foot the brake pedal. Hunh?- 62barsoom

So using a higher dollar pump wouldn't make the gauge jump with brake application?- 62barsoom

The cheap chinese fuel pump left me stranded yesterday. So a roll back ride and a more expensive chinese pump it runs. I thought the wacky gauge was due to the old pump. Not. Why in the world would stepping on the brakes make the gauge jump?- 62barsoom
